The grey box version for the second level has been built.
Scene art for the second level and animation for the main character is expected to be fully produced in April.
In the two months of development so far, I've learned a lesson: when I decided at the beginning to make that game gameplay-driven, I should have chosen a more relaxed style when designing the art. The current wasteland style will make the player curious about the story behind the game, i.e. some parts I don't want to pay too much attention to. Now after hindsight of this issue, I had to add a story background to it in order to match the heavy art assets that could no longer be changed. Instead of being frustrated, though, I'm happy to have gained valuable experience so that I can avoid this in my next project.
