From November to December last year, I worked as a docent at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA), where I was specifically responsible for guiding tours of the exhibition Modern Time: Masterpieces from the Collection of Museum Berggruen / Nationalgalerie Berlin.
Being a docent is not easy. I had to memorize a script of over ten thousand words and vividly present its content to the audience during the tours, while also answering any questions they might have. However, I was also very happy because it was my first time engaging with original artworks so deeply and closely, and I learned a lot. At the same time, I made some like-minded friends.
