After completing the basic environment editing for Act 3, I am very happy with my results. I used a shader I made myself on the terrain, which allowed me to recreate the rich color combinations from my concept art on the terrain models. I really like the blue-violet color sandwiched between the large areas of green, and the slight blue coloring in the shadows.

But I still felt that my environment lacked some layers, so I decided to add a layer of volumetric clouds, which enriched the vision and at the same time created a sense of ambience among the mountains.

I also discovered the benefit of using the cloud effect in Act 1. Without the cloud effect, the colors of the foreground and the background were too similar, resulting in a lack of visual hierarchy. By adding the cloud effect, the white clouds create a separation between the foreground and the background, making the visual effect much more pleasing and comfortable.
